Senator Phillips, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the adoption of the Rules Senate Committee Substitute offered on page 3481. Senator Torgerson objected. The question being: "Shall SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 330(RLS) "An Act relating to brewpub licenses and to providing alcoholic beverages to a person under 21 years of age" pass the Senate?" Senator Taylor moved and asked unanimous consent that the following Senate letter of intent be adopted: Letter of Intent for HB 330 It is the intent of the Legislature that the Alcohol Beverage Control board and staff examine and make recommendations to the 23rd Alaska State Legislature no later than January 15, 2003 concerning the appropriateness of brewpubs in both the retail dispensary and wholesaling of alcoholic beverages and for the board to monitor the amount of beer sold by brewpubs at the wholesale level. Without objection, the Senate Letter of Intent was adopted. Senator Leman moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Without objection, it was so ordered. SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 330(RLS) was read the third time.
